Engineered Western Red Cedar

Engineered T&G

Clear vertical-grain cedar face over a finger-jointed, kiln-dried core. Lower-grade material is combined into a product with a uniform appearance. Douglas-fir T&G is the solid-wood option.

Bevel & channel siding

Clear WRC bevel siding and engineered bevel siding. Engineered bevel has a clear vertical-grain cedar face on a finger-jointed core. Channel siding in cedar, and in Douglas-fir as a solid-wood option. Shiplap, trim and posts are also available.

Sauna boards

Western Red Cedar sauna boards, STK grade, tongue-and-groove with a rounded (bullnose) face, for sauna walls, cladding beside benches and ceilings.

Species: Western Red Cedar.

Profile: Tongue-and-groove, rounded (bullnose) face.

Decking & Tolko VISTA

Cedar decking and boards. Tolko VISTA Everheart Douglas-fir is stocked: heartwood, Tolko's highest appearance grade, kiln dried and heat treated.

Why Everheart

Heartwood absorbs moisture slowly.
Natural resistance to decay and wood-boring beetles (not termites).
Dense, hard surface; dimensionally stable.
Lighter colour stays cooler underfoot.
Weathers to silver-grey if left unfinished.

Thermally modified SPF & Hemlock

Produced in Parksville. Wood is heated above 200–220 °C (392–425 °F) with no chemicals.

Colour: Chocolate brown, through to the core.
Performance: Improved dimensional stability and decay resistance.
Finishing: Takes finishes well.

Colour-ready

Primed & profiled

Pre-primed trim, fascia, casing, boards and profiled stock. Paint-primed and colour-ready: a better base for the topcoat, less peeling, less site labour.

Profiles are run to the dealer's pattern in Parksville on Weinig Hydromat-series moulders. Material is sorted and graded to the customer's specification. Hydromat details.
